The BIOBASE BCM-12A Blood Collection Monitor is designed to monitor blood volume during collection procedures while gently shaking the blood bag to support consistent mixing and minimise cellular disruption. With a collection capacity of 0–1200 mL, it combines volume measurement, preset collection settings, and automatic alarm functions to support controlled blood collection workflows.
The BCM-12A features an LED display, tare and calibration functions, and an automatic audio-visual alarm that activates when the preset collection volume is reached. In preset mode, the instrument stops shaking within 10 mL of the target volume. In automatic mode, shaking stops when the blood bag is removed and resumes when the bag is reloaded.
Its compact design makes it suitable for blood banks, hospitals, and blood donation centres that require reliable blood collection monitoring.
